膜法世家 Rose Mask Sheet review

I have been checking this brand's website for a little while but didn't try anything from them until now. The Rose mask sheet claims to be the best selling mask under the brand.

The packaging is simple but classic, the mask has a light rose scent which I like. I have had the mask on for about 20min and have to say the mask turned a little dry after the time. Even it didn't completely dry out after 20 minutes but I can feel the moisture has gone in about 15 mins wearing.

Compare to the mask sheets I tried and reviewed yesterday, I like the first one better than this one. However I won't mind finish off the rest of rose mask but might not be purchasing them again.

I have also purchased other series from this brand and will review once I try them out.

Flowery Land Grape Fruit Brightening Facial Mask

I recently picked up some of this brand facial mask sheets. I have read some of the good reviews about this brand on some Chinese Skin care forums so decided to try.

Once I opened the package of the mask, I can smell the slight fresh citrus scent which I do enjoy. The sheet feels great, smooth, thin and contains a lot of serum. I do recommend to use the citrus extract skin care products at night, due to this type of skin care usually contains VC which is great to even out your skin tone and brighten the skin but at the same time, the skin tends to get sensitive when under the sun and easier to get sun damaged, so night time is the best time for VC type skin care.

I left it on the skin for about 20 mins, it didn't dry out as some of my other facial mask sheets did. I gently massaged the left serum into my skin and applied my usual night time skin care, my face now is feeling moisturised but not oily.

I so far really like this mask and will try some other range under this brand. Look out for more reviews coming up soon.

Bourjois Happy Light Foundation Review

This is the first Bourjois Foundation I have tried. After read a lot of reviews about Bourjois Foundations, I decided to try out from this one which recently came on the shelf. I purchased this when Priceline had 40% off on all cosmetics sales, it costed me AUD$ 17 while the normally price is $28. The packaging is great, it's in a glass bottle with a pump. I purchased this in Beige Shade which matches my skin fine. It's has a slight pink undertone which isn't usually my first choice. The coverage is definitely light to medium, it covers some of my dark spots/acne scars but it's doesn't completely cover up the redness around my nose. As I personally don't like building too many levers of foundation to cake up my face, I didn't try to build up the coverage.

It has a dewy finish, and quite natural after apply. The lasting power is ok, I wore it for about 6 hours without touch up, it still looked ok after the day. My nose area did get a bit shiny but not too bad. I did wear this foundation with a pressed powder to matt up the finish.

The foundation has a nice scent which I like. But if you mind the fragrance in your makeup, you might need to try in the shop before you purchase.

All in all, it's not my favourite foundation but it's not bad if you enjoy a natural dewy finish foundation. I wouldn't say it's a long lasting foundation and the shade didn't perfectly match my Asian skin tone. However, it does feel very light on the skin and not drying up my skin at all.

I give this foundation 6 out of 10.
