Weekend Shopping Haul

I haven't been shopping on a weekend for long time as I spend most of my workday lunch break in the shopping centre. However, it's good to have a change to see some different shops in other malls on weekend once in a while. So this time I decided to go to the shopping centre which is recently opened in Sydney, Central Park. I wouldn't call it the big shopping centre in anyway as there are only couple levels of the retail areas and couple more levels of foodcourt and supermarket. But there are few new stores I was interested in visiting since I don't have easy access to them on a weekly basis.

I picked some stuff from Ally which I didn't really care for before as their clothes have never fitted my bodyshape and I hate the pads they insert in the shoulder as I already have broad shoulders for my size. However, since I received my first recent order from their online store, it's all changed. They have so much better design and fitting now I was excited to see more in store.

Playsuits : Left AUD18 Right AUD 29.95. I believe the left one was 50% off and I was lucky they have my size and left one is new stock. They are easy to style as you don't need to worry about how to match top and bottom, throw it on and put on some cute necklace and pair it with cute flat boots or even heels to dress up or dress down easily.

Dress: Left AUD 30, Right : AUD39.95. I got the left one from a little Asian store I sometimes walk into. I am not fond of their quality but they do have cute styles. So when the price is not too much for what they are, I will pick something up from that store. This white dress has a beautiful painting style picture print and fitted nicely. The right one was from Ally online store from their new collection. I love this blue flowers on the white dress and the cute cutout around belly button adds a hint of sexiness in a midi length dress.

I found this store called pigeon hole in Central Park, they have so many cute animal shape stuff like mugs, plate holders and earings and necklaces. I just cannot resist the bunny shape things, and when I saw this origami rabbit dainty necklace, I had to get it. It's gold plated necklace and was AUD 35. I love the length of the necklace and it just hangs on my collarbones and I can still layer other necklaces to add colour. This is going to be a daily necklace for me.

My Weekly Outfits - Zara, Bardot, Myer and more..

Monday
The weather has been depressing for almost half a month in Sydney, the rain has never stopped. To start the week with a cold rainy morning, I decided to bright the day up by wearing this pink tone outfit.  The pink shirt was from Myer last year, I am not sure if where to find the exact style now but pretty sure you can easily find a similar shirt on website like Asos. The midi skirt is the one I ordered from Boohoo.com (http://www.boohoo.com/aus/skirts/erin-floral-midi-skirt/invt/azz32799) I believe they are now having a further 25% on the sales items, so it's now even a better buy. The necklace is from Collethhayman, I think it's around AUD 7-8 when I purchased it for half price, I am quite happy with the outfit, the colour combination definitely starts off the week perfectly.
 Tuesday
I went on my usual Zara shopping on Monday so couldn't wait to put on this dress I purchased. The dress fitted perfectly. It's a strap dress (no sleeve) so I decided to throw on a thin cardigan (also purchased from Zara during mid season sale) to make it more office appropriate. Same necklace as Monday as I tried to use the bright colour of the necklace to balance the dark tone of my entire outfit. The long necklace (from Lovisa) is to add some lever to the outfit as the dress is midi length, by adding a longer necklace makes my torso appear longer than it is to balance out the length of the dress.
Wednesday
Yet again I went to work in the rain, I had to borrow this bright yellow colour to make my day better. The shirt is from Zara and black pants are from Myer few years back. Necklace is Swarovski. There are 2 black crystals on the necklace and one is hanging below my collar bone, which goes well with the collar of this shirt . Also the black crystal matches the colour combination of the whole outfit. The Zara loose fitting shirts are perfect for the layback yet stylish outfit lovers.

Thursday
Oh it turns out I loved this outfit so much and don't know why I didn't think about wearing them together. The shirt is also from Zara, and skirt is from Bardot 2014 Autumn/Winter collection. The 3 layers long necklace is from Asos which I believe only costs $7 and it is so feminine. I love the length of 3 different layers and the longest one goes to my chest, and it perfects the neckline and also show the little sexiness.

Friday
Friday Friday Friday, everybody is waiting you to come. I have casual day at work today so can pretty much play up with some of outfit. However, I made plan to go to a friend's graduation celebration after work so though to wear something elegant yet casual. So I wore this Zara midi dress I got couple weeks ago, this dress is low back dress so I think it is bit too much to wear in the office, to make the entire outfit bit more playful. I threw this minty green Zara T Shirt and tied knot at the front to cover up and add a bit more colour and layback element in the outfit.

Saturday
We were running late for our lunch with friends for Yum Cha so I didn't have time to pick and match my outfit. When in hurry, it's never wrong to go with the simplest outfit like a white Tee and light wash denim jeans. I also threw on a leather sleeve jacket from Zara. The Tee and Jeans are also from Zara. Necklace from Collethayman, I wore this necklace to add some colour into the entire outfit.
Sunday
We were invited to go for a friend's birthday lunch, since it's not dinner I didn't want to dress up too formal. However the place is a semi fancy place so I decided to go with little dressy but not too over the top outfit. I wore this low back shift dress from Sheike last summer collection. The colour is bright but not taking too much attention. I think it's perfect for the occasion. I threw the leather jacket on the to keep me warm.

What I got from Zara, ASOS and Bardot

Zara Midi dress AUD 69.95. I got this dress in size XS and it fitted perfectly. The fabric is slightly stretchy and the polkadot is is kind of back for the summer. I hope the weather is not too bad tomorrow so I can wear it with a thin cardigan to office.

Baradot singlets : Yellow AUD 20 and Orange AUD 30. I walked pass the store today and they just started to put the 50% off sales sign on the racks, so I couldn't resist and picked up these 2 singlets. The picture is definitely not doing them judgement, they are cute and goes well with some white shorts or black jeans.

I also received 2 ASOS long necklaces in the mail today. I link them below for you to get a much better look. They will go well with some loose shirt I like to wear and emphasize the neckline.

What I ordered from BooHoo.com

I recently placed an order from Boohoo.com and got these items in the mail yesterday. a Midi Skirt, a Crop Top and a match set of crop top & maxi skirt, total price is AUD 58 which I think it's reasonable. I have placed orders from Boohoo in the past but the items I got were never reach the expectation (they never look the same as showing in the picture and sizing are kinda of strange) However I am quite happy with the order this time, the items are good quality and they are all fitted very well too.

I am really into the midi skirt, crop top trend lately and I didn't have many of these skirts in the past so though would get some of them to brighten up the wardrobe before summer comes.

What I bought this week - Zara and Sportsgirl

Since last week's purchase of midi dresses, I am really into the trend of the midi length pieces so I went back in Zara and picked up one more Midi Dress (right AUD 69.95). The left 2 Tees are also from Zara's new arrival (AUD 29.95 each). They have really cute stripe and dots prints and unique pictures. They will go really well with a pair of jeans.

The blue midi skirt is from Sportsgirl, the original RRP is AUD 49.95 and I purchased it for AUD 29.95 after discount. I really like the colour combination of these 2 blues but the length is a bit more of a maxi for my height of 163cm instead of Midi. I would totally wear a white crop top or a white T to tuck in with this skirt.

The weather in Sydney has been really wet these days and we are expecting more wet days in the week, I cannot wait for the rain to stop so I can start to dress up with these new pieces.
I don't know about you guys, but I lose all my inspiration in the dull rainy windy cold day.

What I got from Zara this week

These are definitely not my usual choice, I think I am short for this length dresses. I am 163cm tall, and these dresses are up to the middle of my shin. The dress are AUD69.95 each and they both are low back. I am in the hunt for some bra straps can hold the strap down so they won't be showing.

I will definitely wear them with heels so it doesn't make me look short. They come in a bigger range of sizes than the usual dresses in Zara, the size are from XXS to XL, I am a XS in them and they are very well fitted.

What I got from Zara this week

The colour in Zara now is just screaming Spring and Summer. I cannot wait for this winter to end so all the sunshine, colour will come back.

I think its time to stop purchasing winter items even the temperature is still not warm. This week I got these items.

White Long sleeve T shirt (Crop top) AUD 19.95, blue T shirt AUD 25.95, White T shirt AUD 25.95 and white Jeans AUD 49.95.

All the T shirts are quite simple to style. The crop top long sleeves T is crop top, so I would pair it with a high waist skirt or high waist distressed jeans.

It's not easy to pick white denim even it's just such a simple piece but it takes long time to get a nice fitted piece looks flattering on. I am not saying this pair is the best I can think of. I was torn between size 6(US Size 2) and size 8(US Size 4), I would say size 6 fitted better but for white jeans, it tends to be little see through when it's too well fitted. I can see the front pockets through the jeans in a size 6, while size 8 is a little lose on me, but I don't need to worry about the see through part and also can create a more relaxed style so I ended up going with Size 8.

I have to say the blue T shirt looks extremely nice with the white denim. I am not sure if I will wear them out this weekend as the winter still hasn't left and I would probably just take the time and give the normal denim more time as once summer comes, I will not often wear full length jeans.
