Movie Review: The Fault in our Stars

We have finally decided to watch this movie since it became the "Movie of the Week". I always wanted to see it but consider it's a love story so was worried my husband might find it cheesy and boring. I was warned by friends who watched it that there would be some crying and it was true. I literally had to hold my breath few times to hold my tears in and still for few moments, I couldn't help but feel the urge of tearing down for Hazel and Gus. This is truly an amazing, sad yet beautiful story. It's not only about the love the pair shared, it's the life they chose to live and how they see their lives are truly touching me.

We don't realise how lucky we are to have this life we are living, when something like breathing looks so simple to us becomes a luxury to some people, when any day could be the last day to some people, when the greatest fear for some people is how their loved ones will live after they die, I don't see why we are not living the life we want to live.

I watched a Youtube Video from Kandee yesterday and loved what her dad said to her : make today better than yesterday.. no matter how great your yesterday was, you are going to make it better today...
